Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats

Rice Krispie Treats are so simple and easy to make, they're a perfect treat ready in less than 10 minutes. Drizzled in melted chocolate and covered in sprinkles - what's not to love?
Makes 6 servings 



  • 150g (6 cups) rice krispie cereal
  • 285g (10 ounces) mini marshmallows
  • 85g (1/2 cup) milk choc chips
  • 70g (5 tbsp) butter
  • 30g (2 tbsp) cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Melted Chocolate
  • Sprinkles
  • Lollipop Sticks


  1. First, put the butter into a large sauce pan and melt over medium heat.
  2. Once melted, add the cocoa powder, dark chocolate, salt & mini marshmallows continuously keep stirring until all melted.
  3. Remove from heat, add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  4. Add in the rice krispie cereal and milk choc chips - stir until all the cereal is completely coated in the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, use your hands to pat down until all the dish is evenly covered.
  6. Pop into the fridge and allow to chill until firm.
  7. Once set, cut up into squares.
  8. Insert a lollipop stick about 1/2 into each treat.
  9. Drizzle in melted chocolate and cover in sprinkles.
  10. Enjoy!
